PRIVACY POLICY

LVS HR Consultancy Ltd (“LVSHR”) is committed to being clear and transparent about the data it collects from you when you use this site and our services and how we will use it.  For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998, the data controller is LVSHR of Cobble Court, Hammerwood, West Sussex RH19 3QE.  The person at LVSHR who has responsibility for Data Protection is Linda Skinner, Director.

Introduction

In May 2018 the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) completely overhauled the UK’s data protection laws and the Data Protection Act 2018 became law.  It is underpinned by six basic principles:

  1. Personal Data shall be processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent way.
  2. Personal Data shall be collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes only.
  3. Personal Data shall be adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.
  4. Personal Data shall be accurate and kept up to date.
  5. Personal Data shall be kept in a form which permits identification of Data Subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the Personal Data is processed.
  6. The integrity and confidentiality of Personal Data is maintained at all times through appropriate technical and organisational measures, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage.

LVSHR is committed to safeguarding your personal information. Whenever you provide such information, we will use your information in accordance with these principles.

General Terms
This policy (together with our Terms of use and any other documents referred to on our website) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.  It not only relates to any personal information you provide to our site, it also relates to our use of any personal information you provide to us via phone or text, by email, in letters, in other correspondence and our social media.

Who are we?
LVSHR provides Human Resources consultancy services to small businesses and enterprises. We are located in the UK.  When we refer to “we”’, “us” or “our”, we are referring to LVSHR.

What information will LVS HR collect about you?
We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information you give us. You may give us personal information when you participate in, access or sign up to any of our services, activities, visit our site and/or complete any of our online forms, or by corresponding with us by phone, email or otherwise. This can consist of information such as your name, email address, postal address, landline telephone or mobile number and date of birth, depending on the activity involved.
  • Information we collect about you. With regard to each of your visits to our site we may automatically collect technical information about your computer including, where available, your IP address, operating system and type of browser so that we can manage our system.  This is statistical data about your browsing actions and patterns and does not identify you.If you use our services,  we may collect other personal data about you in order for us to fulfil our obligations to you as a client.

How will LVSHR use the information it collects about you?
We will use your personal information for a number of purposes including the following:

  • To provide our services arising from any contract entered into between you and LVSHR, activities or online content and to deal with your requests and enquiries.
  • For service administration purposes, which means that we may contact you for reasons related to the service, activity or online content you have signed up for.
  • To contact you about a submission you have made, including any content you provide.
  • To provide you with information about our services, activities or online content that you request from us and to provide you with information about such other services we offer.
  • To tell you about changes to our services.
  • To ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.

We will not use your data for any other purposes.

When will LVS HR Consultancy contact you?
We may contact you:

  • In relation to any service, activity or online content arising from a contract between you and LVSHR in order to ensure that we can deliver the services to you;
  • In relation to any correspondence we receive from you or any comment or complaint you make about our services;
  • In relation to any contribution you have submitted to us, eg on our contact forms or by email or post;

Will LVSHR share your personal information with anyone else?
We may share your data in the following circumstances:

  • If we are under a duty to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements. To fulfil any obligations under the terms of the contract between you and LVSHR
  • When engaging a third party to conduct work on your behalf to fulfil obligations under the contract between you and LVSHR.  In this case this will only be carried out with your prior agreement and subject to written confidentiality terms.
  • Where we are under a duty to disclose information as required by law, for example to a government body or law enforcement agency.

We will never sell or share your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Where we store your personal data
The data that we collect from you may be transferred to and stored at a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).  It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for one of our suppliers.  Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the provision of support services. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this policy.

Your rights

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected.
